Top budget-friendly hotels in Jaipur for an affordable stay

The Pink City of India, Jaipur experiences a high footfall of national and international tourists every year. Since the city is studded with amazing locations and lively markets which enliven its rich historical background, this place stays in demand throughout the year for visits. Therefore, Jaipur has all sorts of accommodation available to serve its customers. Having said that, there is a wide range of affordable budget hotels in Jaipur which promise an ambience of the old-world charm of Rajasthan. Designed intricately with inspirations from the existing and ruined palaces and forts of Rajasthan, these hotels are perfect for a comfortable stay in the city without having to bother about expenses. I have visited Jaipur quite a number of times and stayed at different hotels on my trip. Here are some of the phenomenal hotels where I had the best stay.

Fly Inn

Fly Inn is one of those plush hotels located in proximity to the Jaipur International Airport. Contrary to the popular belief of Airport hotels being extravagantly priced, Fly Inn provides you with the best of amenities within a reasonable range. Boasting spacious, centrally air-conditioned rooms, Fly Inn is perfect for a brief stay in the Pink City. Given its strategic location, this hotel is also a great choice to opt for, if you have flights to catch at odd hours. With a fully furnished business centre, a rooftop swimming pool and rooms equipped with 24 hours wifi, hot water and room service, Fly Inn is a steal deal among the budget hotels in Jaipur.

Rampura Kothi

Rampura Kothi is located at a distance of 5 km from the Railway Station. The hotel houses ten spacious guest rooms and all of them are equipped with necessary amenities. The decor of each room emanates a homely feeling. The attached balconies in every room allow you to enjoy the charm of Jaipur and please the eyes with its beauty. All the rooms have common facilities such as wardrobe, luggage space, separate sitting area, laundry and washrooms. I had booked one of these spacious rooms during my stay and was quite impressed with their services. The subtle and sombre decor of the rooms as well as those of the garden and the lobby are quite rejuvenating and will surely relax your senses after a hectic day at work.

Hotel Sarovar Premiere

Providing the best deals on stay, Hotel Sarovar Premiere is a perfect place for a sojourn. The property is well-maintained and has almost 80 spacious rooms in the interiors. Each room has been categorised according to their price packages and includes a minibar, air conditioner, plush comfortable mattress as well as washrooms with the hot and cold water running all day round. The hotel offers excellent views of the city along with added facilities such as laundry, pick-up and drop services to and from the airport or the railway station in Jaipur. It also provides 24 hours room service and a wifi-enabled business centre. With prices in a modest range, Sarovar Premiere is ideal for a royal stay without burning a hole in the pocket.

Doodle Rack

The Doodle Rack is centrally located in the Pink City and stands quite close to the Maharani Palace. Spread over nine floors, Doodle Rack provides a homely Jaipur stay. Since I am a big fan of high floors, I pre-booked my room on the 9th floor here. Due to its amazing views, facilities and amenities at a moderate price range, rooms in Doodle Rack fill up rapidly during the peak seasons, and therefore, pre-booking is always a good option. Each room is equipped with plush beds, long curtains, a beverage maker, sitting spaces and washrooms. The hotel is situated at a nominal distance of 4 km from the railway station and around 10 km from the Sawai Raja Jaisingh International Airport.

Hotel Blue Skies

Hotel Blue Skies is a thoughtfully designed and well-maintained budget accommodation in Jaipur. I remember having just a night to spend in the city before I headed for Jodhpur, the next day and rooms were hardly available in other hotels. Hence I booked myself a Standard Deluxe room at Blue Skies and was quite satisfied with their rooms. Warm long curtains concealed the glass windows while the gleaming white bed covers complimented the subtle wall decor of the room. Since it was already late at night and I was too hungry and tired to go out in the quest for food, I ordered a bowl of Aloo Gobi and hot Rotis from the in-house restaurant. It took some time for the food to arrive but the taste was heavenly. Overall, my stay at Blue Skies was a good one, given that the place is also located strategically.

Thus, these are some of the budget-friendly hotels in Pink City, which according to me, are great places for a relaxing stay. However, if the peak season is when you are aiming for the trip, then make sure you pre-book rooms in advance to avoid any inconvenience at the last moment.
